Baraka’s cuisine is a fine fusion of the French and Asian kitchens. The inspiration for our winter menu is ASIAN MYTHS AND LEGENDS. Following the tradition of storytelling during this chilly season, our chef André Bicalho will take you on a succession of adventures, where your plate will be the stage for the essential elements of each of these Asian folk tales, their characters, their plot, their drama, and the deeper meaning underneath, represented somehow in the ingredients on the plate.
We will for example tell you the story of the weaver girl and the cow herder, and will then invoke your imagination to take another interpretation of that story to your palate, making it come to life in the physical form of taste and texture.
So join us on this quest, and amidst the cold of winter, let your body and soul be warmed by our ASIAN MYTHS AND LEGENDS menu… and yes, there will be dragons!
